철은 공업소재라는 특수성으로 산업사회의 대표이자 현대사회의 발전에 기여를 하는 동시에 작가의 작업실에서 공업 프로세스와 설비를 복제했고, 예술 작품으로 환원되었다. 작가는 다양한 재료와 기법, 테크놀로지와 그의 특유의 조형원리를 통합해 미술의 새로운 언어, 장르, 공간을 문제시하고 작가의 작업과 실천은 작업 행위뿐만 아니라 재생산하고 확장, 연출해나가는 모든 영역을 일관되게 찾아내고 접속한다. 
웅장한 철의 울림을 주제로 태초의 고요한 떨림을 관찰한 자연의 요소를 작품에 심어 둔다. 산, 물, 불의 울림을 강렬한 철의 진동으로 은유하고, 그것의 형태는 인간이 안주하고자 하는 자연의 대표적 상징, 나무의 조형으로 표현되었다. 바람에 의해 잔잔히 흐르는 풍경의 소리와 웅장한 철의 울림의 하모니를 재현한 작품이다. 

The vibration of wind-Sound Tree 2014
Because ofcharacteristics as industrial material, steel represented industrial societyand contributed to development of modern society. At the same time, steelduplicated industrial process and facility in artist’s atelier, and reverted toart work. Combining various materials, techniques and his own formativeprinciple, the artist handles new language, new genre, new space of art. Hiswork and action consistently find and connect not only the working action, butalso all the reproducing, expanding and directing fields.
Grandresonance of steel as theme, he observed calm resonance in the beginning and putsthat natural element. Strong vibration of steel is metaphor of resonance ofmountain, water, fire and it’s formed as tree, symbol of nature, that humanwants to settle in. It reproduces harmony between calm sound of landscape bywind and magnificent resonance of steel.
